Fuuuuuuuuuuck.

My dad has to have his knee replaced. There's no cartilage left on it.

How did that happen?

Well, Dad wasn't exactly kind to his body. The jobs he took to put food on the table were rather strenuous, and usually outdoors. The activity in varying temperatures (very hot, or freezing) over the years caused a lot of the arthritis he has in the knee, and also in his back.

He's generally in pain, despite the shots he gets, which make it tolerable.

When he found out, he looked up about it online, and found a video of the surgery being performed.

He's less than thrilled.

Oh wow that sucks man, i sorry to hear that. It is a painful feeling. My aunt had that done, and my grandmother had the same issue in her hips, first one and then the other. When is is supposed to get the surgury? I hope it all goes well and well keep him our prayers.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build him better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.

No no no, Omar. Dad's more of a "resistance is futile" guy.

Carlos, I'm not sure when he's getting it done. I'll likely have to go up there to help out for a while. Thanks for your well wishes.

Janeen, I'll have my dad call your dad; they can compare notes! ...What's your dad's number?
